It is usually one of two things: you forgot your user name or password, or you haven't confirmed your email or phone number. Use the "Forgot password" link to reset your password and check your email.
Cabidz may not be available in your city yet, or all drivers are busy. Try again after a little while.
It is the estimated metered fare for the distance you are travelling. Drivers compete by bidding below it.
Bidding lasts 60 seconds, so drivers have time to place as many bids as they like and compete with each other.

Cabidz announces the winning driver and sends you a reminder to pick. If you still do not choose, the winning driver is dispatched automatically and your trip begins.
No. If you are not happy with the fare you can cancel the bidding without being charged. You stay in control.
No. Drivers bid to lower the estimated metered fare, and the winning bid is what you pay.
The estimated metered fare does not include tolls or airport fees, but the bid amount covers any tolls or airport fees involved.
No. Bid fares are final fares offered by drivers. If your trip is cut short and falls under the distance rules, the same discount is applied to the shorter trip.
If you requested a trip of more than 15 km and the actual trip is less than half of it, Cabidz recalculates your final fare and applies the same discount percentage.
Tap the vehicle you requested, tap the baby icon, then tap Save.

Yes. Tap the vehicle you requested, enter your special instructions, then tap Save.
On the home screen tap "Now" to open the calendar, then choose the date and time.
Because the trip is in the future, Cabidz runs the bidding half an hour beforehand to find the best fare. The lowest-fare winner is then selected and the booking is confirmed.
No. Cancelling the bidding is free.
When you have accepted a bid and the driver is already on the way, and you then cancel the trip.
We deduct $5 if the driver is already on the way.
No. Cabidz works with credit cards only.
Yes. Cabidz asks you to add a credit card before the trip starts.
There are not enough funds available on your card to start the trip. To avoid surprises for drivers, we check the funds available before the journey begins.
Under the NSW Government's Compulsory Third Party (CTP) reforms, from 1 April 2018 a charge of $0.10 per kilometre applies to rideshare trips. The charge on your receipt is the kilometres travelled times $0.10.
Since 1 February 2018 the NSW Government requires taxi, rideshare and hire car providers to pay a levy of $1.10 per trip, which funds its taxi compensation package.
We need a photo ID to open your payments account with Stripe, where it is matched with your legal name. Unlike other ride-sharing companies we do not ask for passports, pink slips or the like, because you are already a taxi driver.

Make sure you use a correct Australian phone number format, for example 04xxxxxxxx.
A valid Australian driver licence, and a Driver Authority Card if you drive a taxi.
Your legal name and address, a valid email address, your date of birth, your bank account number, BSB and account name, and your Australian driver licence number.
If everything is provided, approval generally takes no more than 24 hours.
Close the app and check back after a while. We email you once you are approved, so keep an eye on your inbox.
It is the power to bid your own fare, which gives you the chance at times to win more than the metered fare.
Our fare algorithms bring you more medium and longer trips, more jobs reduce idle time, and Find Jobs lets you explore bookings and bid on them, including trips in the direction you are already heading.
It is the discount you prefer to start from. Cabidz applies it to the metered fare and shows the result in the bid field, but it is never placed automatically: you confirm it. For example, with a 10% default discount and a $100 metered fare, the field shows $90, and you can edit it or just tap Place bid.

As soon as bidding finishes, Cabidz starts the trip and you are expected to head to your passenger straight away.
The passenger has a further 30 seconds to accept. If they are still unresponsive, Cabidz starts your trip and its state changes to "driver en route".
You can leave the bidding at any time, but we encourage you not to, as it may affect your ratings.
Yes. Bids appear instantly on the right panel, and you can see how far each driver is from the passenger. For example, if another driver is 10 minutes away and bids $50, you could bid $54 from 1 minute away and save the passenger time.
Yes, as many times as you like while the 60 seconds last.

We charge the cancellation fee, minus our commission, and forward it to your account.
The bookings and hailing jobs you have won. These are the trips you should be heading off to soon.
No need to worry. Open the app again and the trip continues from where it was, so you can end it later and get paid.
Passengers can create future bookings, and Cabidz starts bidding half an hour beforehand. You can also open Find Jobs and bid on a booking in an area; if no other driver bids before the half hour, you are announced the winner. You will get a "bidding ending soon" notice for bookings you bid on.

Your bank account number is needed to transfer your payments.
We do not store your bank account details. We pass them to Stripe, the secure payments provider also used by other large companies.
Cabidz processes payments the next day, and then it is up to the banks to process them further.
No. The levy is charged to the passenger separately, and CTP does not apply to taxis.
When a passenger accepts a bid, the driver is on the way and the passenger then cancels. We deduct $5.
No. Cabidz works with credit cards only.
