I can't Sign In

If you cannot sign in, it could be for a few reasons

  • You forgot your user name or password
  • You haven’t confirmed your email or phone number

I can't request a ride

If you cannot request a ride, it could be for a few reasons

  • Cabidz is currently  unavailable in your City
  • All drivers are busy

Come back and try again after a while

What is Metered Fare ?

Metered Fare is estimated metered fare based on the number of KM’s traveling

For how long the bidding lasts ?

Bidding lasts for only 60 seconds, where drivers have enough time to place as many bids as they can to compete with each other.

What if i do not pick a driver after bidding ends ?

Cabidz will announce the winner driver and will give you a reminder notification to pick your driver. If you forget to pick the driver, Cabidz will dispatch the winner driver automatically and your trip will begin.

How many drivers are involved in bidding at a time ?

At a time 3 nearest drivers are involved in bidding for 60 seconds.

Am I obligated to accept the bid once bidding time finishes ?

No, you are not, you can cancel the bidding without being charged if not happy with the fare. Cabidz give total control to you!

Is Metered Fare expected to be the Bidded Fare?

No. Metered Fare is estimated metered fare based on the number of KM’s traveling, the driver would compete and place bids in order to lower the metered fare.

Does Estimated Metered Fare includes Airport fees or tolls ?

The Estimated Metered Fare does not include any toll or airport fee but the bid amount would cover the tolls or any airport fee involved.

Is there any surge in Fare ?

No, Cabidz do not have any surge in fares. The bided fares are final fares offered from drivers. In case your trip is cut short and falls under distance rules then same discount is applied accordingly.

What if I cut short my trip ?

Cabidz will recalculate your final fare and apply same discount percentage if your requested trip is more then 15K and actual trip is less then half of the requested trip

How Can I request for a baby seat?

Yes you can request for a baby seat by tapping on the car and selecting baby icon.

Follow below steps

  1. Tap on the vehicle requested.
  2. Tap on the baby icon.
  3. Tap Save.

How can I request for a wheel chair ?

Yes you can request for a wheel chair by tapping on the car and selecting wheel chair icon.

Follow below steps

  1. Tap on the vehicle requested.
  2. Tap on the wheel chair.
  3. Tap Save.

Can I send special instructions to the driver ?

Yes you can by tapping on the vehicle requested. Follow below steps

  1. Tap on the vehicle requested.
  2. Enter Special Instructions.
  3. Tap Save.

How to request a booking ?

On Home screen Tapping on “Now” will open  calendar widget where you can select the date and time.

When Bidding takes place for booking ?

As your booking is in future so Cabidz  conducts bidding half an hour before to find the best suitable fare for your trip. Before half an hour Cabidz selects lowest fare winner driver and confirms the booking.

Would I be charged cancellation fee If I cancel bidding

No, you will not be charged for cancellation fee for cancelling bidding

When cancellation fee is applied ?

When you accept the bid and driver is enroute, if you cancel at that time then cancalleation fee is applied

How much cancellation fee is charged ?

We deduct 5$ cancellation charges if driver is already en route.

Do you accept cash payments ?

No , Cabidz only operates on credit cards.

Do I need to provide a valid credit card before starting the trip ?

Yes, Cabidz will prompt you to enter credit card before the trip starts.

Why I got "Insufficient Funds Available" message at start of trip ?

You received it because you do not have enough funds available in your credit card to start a trip. To prevent surprises to drivers we verify funds available in your card before start of journey.

Why there is A CTP charge on my receipt ?

As part of the NSW Government reforms to Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance, from 1 April 2018, the NSW Government implemented a new CTP scheme to collect a $0.10 per kilometre charge on ridesharing trips. The CTP charge you see on the receipt is number of km’s traveled times $0.10.  

Why there is A Levy Charge on my receipt ?

As of 1 February 2018, the NSW Government requires all taxi, rideshare and hire car providers to pay a temporary levy for each trip taken. This 1.10$ levy per trip is used by the NSW Government to fund a $250 million taxi compensation package.
