Why you require license on signup ? is not authority card enough ?
Its legal requirement to get your photo id to open your account with Stripe(used by Uber, Facebook and large corporate for secure payments) where it would be matched with your legal name.

Unlike other ride sharing companies requiring passports, ids, pink slips, police checks etc. We only require little documents as you are already Taxi driver.
I can't Sign In
If you cannot sign in, it could be for a few reasons
- You forgot your user name or password
- You haven’t confirmed your email or phone number
Just reset your password from “forgot password” link and check your email
I can't Sign Up, Invalid phone number
Make sure you are providing correct Australian phone number format i.e 042xxxxxxx
What documents you need to sign me up ?
At Signup you would need to provide
- Valid Australian Drivers License
- Driver Authority Card in case of Taxi

How Long does it take to get approved ?
Generally if everything is provided then it should not take more then 24 hours to get approved
App Says your approval is in progress, How would I know when I am approved ?
Close your app and check after a while, we would send you email once you are approved. Please make sure to check your email.
What is open bidding ?
Open bidding is the power to bid your own fare!. Where you have opportunity at times to win more fare than metered fares.
How would I make more money by using Cabidz?
We have set of algorithms for fares which will bring more medium and longer trips to you helping you earning more than before!.
Large number of jobs will decrease your idle and vacant driving time- thus again increasing your earnings!
The booking find jobs feature we have you can explore jobs and place bids on them and win!.
You can also use find jobs if going to a direction and can win and bid on those thus saving your cost and increasing your earnings!.
What is Metered Fare ?
Metered Fare is estimated metered fare based on the number of KM’s traveling
What is default bidding discount ?
Default bidding discount is your preference you want to start the bidding from , rather then entering yourself, Cabidz will apply that on metered fare and show that to you on place bid field before you press the place bid button. This is only to save your time and it would not be automatically applied unless you approve it at the time of bidding.
Example : Your Default discount is 10% , A trip request comes with 100$ metered fare , Cabidz apply your discount percentage and shows you 90$ in the text field which you can update anytime but to speed up the process you can just tap on place bid and it will be then placed. This will help both passenger and you to make the process fast and efficient.
For how long the bidding lasts ?
Bidding lasts for only 60 seconds, where drivers have enough time to place bids wisely.
What happens when I win a bid ?
As soon as you win the bid and bidding finishes Cabidz starts the trip and you are expected to be en route to your passenger straight away.
What happens when I win a bid and passenger does not accept the ride?
As soon as you win the bid after 60 seconds and still passenger does not accept or cancels then further 30 seconds given to passenger to accept, if still passenger is not responsive then Cabidz starts your trip and state changes to driver en route.
What happens when I am en route and passenger cancels the trip ?
we charge cancellation fee minus our commission in that case, which would be forwarded to your account.
How many drivers are involved in bidding at a time ?
At a time 3 nearest drivers are involved in bidding for 60 seconds.
Can I cancel the bidding any time ?
Yes you may cancel out from bidding process any time. But we encourage you to not to as it may affect your ratings.
Is Metered Fare expected to be the Bidded Fare?
No. Metered Fare is estimated metered fare based on the number of KM’s traveling, you would compete and place bids in order to lower the metered fare.
Does Estimated Metered Fare includes Airport fees or tolls ?
The Estimated Metered Fare may include airport fee only. However you should bid wisely by considering any tolls, airport fees involved.
Is there any surge in Fare ?
No, Cabidz do not have any surge in fares. The bided fares are final fares offered from drivers. In case your trip is cut short and falls under distance rules then same discount is applied accordingly.
Can I view other drivers bids ?
Yes you view on the right panel when drivers place bids. Instantly all bidding updates are shown to you and yours to them and also at same time passenger is able to view all live bidding updates.
Can I view other drivers ETA ?
Yes you can view how far is the driver from the passenger place and this would help you bid wisely.
Example Driver Smith was 10 minutes away from passenger so he placed bid of 50$
You are 1 minute away from passenger and you can place 54$ to check if passenger accepts you to save his time.
Can I Update the bid ?
Yes you can update bid as many times you like as long as bidding lasts for 60 seconds
What is find jobs ?
From Find Jobs you can search for bookings in an area and can place bids on the bookings.
How bidding works for bookings ?
Passenger can create future bookings. Cabidz will kick off bidding on bookings half an hour before to make sure drivers availability in the surrounding areas. Although you can go in find jobs and place bid on the booking in the area and if before half an hour no other driver place bid for that booking then you are announced as winner and trip starts.
You will also receive bidding ending soon for the bidding you placed on booking in case if you would like to participate and win in live bidding.
You can also go to requested jobs and update/cancel your bids before bidding kicks off for booking jobs.
What is requested Jobs ?
In Requested jobs you may update/cancel your bids before bidding kicks off for booking jobs.
What if passenger cut short the trip ?
Cabidz will recalculate your final fare and apply same discount percentage if the requested trip is more then 15K and actual trip is less then half of the requested trip
How would I know that a baby seat is requested ?
On Incoming job if you see the baby icon highlighted then it means the baby seat is requested.
How would I know that a wheel chair is requested ?
On Incoming job if you see the wheel chair icon highlighted then it means the wheel chair is requested.
What are special instructions on incoming job ?
Special Instructions could be what passenger requested for like “stopping at cake shop in Alexandria”. This may help you to bid wisely
What happens when I am en route and passenger cancels the trip ?

What is upcoming trip ?
The bookings or hailing jobs you won are listed under upcoming trips where you should be heading off soon to pick your passengers.
My battery drained or app killed during the trip ?
No need to worry just open your app again and trip will start from there and you can end the trip later so that your payment should get cleared.

The bank account number is required to transfer your payments
How safe are my bank details?
100%, We do not store your bank account details. All we do is pass it on to the world renounced secure Stripe(used by Uber, Facebook and large corporate for secure payments)

When cancellation fee is applied ?
When passenger accepts the bid and driver is en route, if passenger cancel at that time then cancellation fee is applied
How much cancellation fee is charged ?
We deduct 5$ cancellation charges if driver is already en route.
Do you accept cash payments ?
No , Cabidz only operates on credit cards.
When do you pay the driver ?
Cabidz process payments the next day, then its banks time to process it further.
Does bid amount includes Levy ?
No the bid amount does not include Levy as we separately charge it to passenger
Does bid amount includes CTP ?
No the bid amount does not include CTP as CTP is not applied on Taxis
How much commision do you charge ?
To maintain the system and operations we are offering nominal 10% locked commission for first 1000 signed up drivers!
